Prototyping
In the prototyping phase, every detail takes shape in our in-house department, where skilled operators use lathes, milling machines, and advanced equipment to shape housings and components. This precision work allows the testing of tailor-made solutions, ensuring the highest quality for every project.
In-house testing
Every customized fixture undergoes rigorous internal testing, using the same processes as standard products. Linea Light Group verifies waterproofing (IP), impact resistance (IK), electrical discharge and load capacity, ensuring maximum quality and compliance for every project.
Bringing ideas to light
Before presenting the solution, each fixture is tested in Linea Light Group’s internal Mockup Room. In this controlled environment, the final result, light performance, and integration are verified, ensuring the solution meets every expectation.
Production
Once the solution is approved, the fixture enters production following the same quality standards as standard products. Each phase is managed internally to ensure reliability and precision.
Support
While many companies end their work upon delivery, Linea Light Group continues to offer technical support on-site during installation and testing, ensuring a complete service and perfect operation of the solutions.

Case Study
Athens International Airport
Athens, Greece
Facade lighting in the heart of the Greek capital
The intervention allowed a complete redevelopment of the building, twenty years after the original project.
The AVW Architecture studio redesigned the entire structure, extending it southward, with particular attention to lighting design, in collaboration with the award-winning Eleftheria Deko and Associates studio.
The focus of the lighting project was the front façade of the new wing, visible from the airport, illuminated with custom professional solutions, developed together with the Linea Light Group team.
Development process
Study of the custom Paseo profile mounting system and the housing of the electronic components. A crucial co-design moment, involving designers, installers, builders, and the technical team.
Creation of the first mock-ups to verify profile installation, electronic integration, and lighting effect. In complex projects, these early mock-ups can be repeated several times.
The final mock-up is installed on-site to verify the lighting effect. After several tests, this phase confirms the integration between light and architecture, validating performance and results.
During the testing and commissioning phase, a technician supervises installation, intermediate checks, and final verification. At this stage, DALI or DMX programming and wiring are also carried out.

Ferring Pharmaceuticals
Copenhagen, Denmark
Lighting scenography in the Nordic nights
Inside the building, integrated into an existing sound-absorbing slatted false ceiling system requiring custom recessed solutions anchored from above, the Rollip linear profile was installed in three different versions (75x50mm, 75x100mm, 170x60mm), specially made in glossy white, with on-board drivers and DALI control system.
A total of 15 kilometers run through corridors, passageways, offices, and laboratories, ensuring visual comfort and glare control.
Development process
To maintain the distinctive characteristics of the Rollip, a study was carried out on the mounting system, developing custom solutions for installation on an existing metal ceiling.
Prototypes are created in preparation for the subsequent project execution phase. These are elements developed for outdoor installations, conceived as experimental proposals, which proved fundamental in optimizing the final concept.
During the transition between prototyping and production, consistency between the technical drawing and physical realization is verified, ensuring that every design detail is respected.
Once the prototyping phase is completed and coherence with the project verified, the final realization begins. The concept comes to life, transforming into a BeSpoke solution.

Desert Rock Resort
Hijaz, Saudi Arabia
Architecture, landscape, and light
Nestled in the Saudi desert, in the heart of the Hijaz mountains, Desert Rock Resort represents one of the most extraordinary works of contemporary architecture. Here, man has not imposed foreign forms but has chosen to carve the rock and dialogue with it, transforming an ancient landscape into a luxurious retreat without precedent.
Over 1,500 fixtures form a contemporary lantern, with a minimal and elegant design, conceived to blend seamlessly with architecture and landscape, respecting their natural character.
Behind the apparent simplicity lies an advanced technological core, the result of a BeSpoke approach developed in close collaboration with the lighting design studio.
Development process
This phase focuses on electronic customization: the DALI programming of the candle’s internal circuit reproduces the natural flicker of a flame. The darker lower part evokes wax, enhancing the atmosphere of the project.
Every detail has been carefully designed to combine aesthetics, functionality, and integration with the surrounding landscape, including the selection of the polypropylene tone that forms the candle, paired with the Dark Brown finish for a textured effect.
