AlRayyan Hotel
Functionality and scenography
The lighting was designed with the aim of emphasising the wonderful finishes used in the construction and furnishing of the AlRayyan Hotel, making them the true protagonists of the rooms. In the suites and rooms, the indirect light created by the Dropper strips applied in the ceiling niches and in the profiles of the furniture, gives an intimate and cosy atmosphere in combination with the Vos recessed fittings, which complete the general lighting of the rooms. The Silicone_C strip, thanks to its silicone coating that guarantees high protection against water and humidity (IP66) is instead applied inside the bathroom.

Fine materials and luxurious finishes need perfect light to be enhanced. A sophisticated lighting design allows the rooms of the AlRayyan Hotel to shine in all their royalty.
The hotel's kitchens and communal areas are illuminated by the Anton and Vos recessed luminaires evenly distributed for a general light that allows the functional use of the rooms, to which is added the application of Dropper strips in the corridors, where they are installed in the side niches of the ceiling. Light is also scenography for the AlRayyan Hotel: in the large hall, in fact, we find a huge decorative installation in black satin glass that comes to life thanks to LED bars created ad hoc with the collaboration of the project's lighting designer and the expertise of Linea Light Group's technical staff. The bars are applied as backlighting for the glass quadrants that form the scenographic wall: a specific study has made it possible to develop a special high-performance finish for the lamp diffusers, not excessively opaque so as not to obstruct the light, but also not so shiny as to create unwanted transparencies or reflections. The bars produce different colour temperature gradations of white light (Dynamic White technology) and are individually controlled via DMX protocol to create plays of light. The result is a living wall, where light seems to dance for the entertainment of guests lingering in the lobby. Even on the outside of the hotel there is no lack of attention to scenography: on the wall on the top external floor, Paseo bars with RGBW light create dynamic and captivating scenes, supported by the scenographic lighting that involves the façade thanks to the Silicone_C strip applied to the wooden profiles and the Suelo uplight that covers the columns on the ground floor with light.
