Art Nest: a ‘nest’ where art, architecture and design come together thanks to light
On the island of Cyprus, about eight kilometres from Limassol, the country's largest city, lies a hidden gem: the Art Nest Arts Centre founded and created by local sculptor Phillipos Yiapanis. The facility is surrounded by a large 3500 square metre park nestled in the forest and contains some 160 bronze and marble sculptures, all created by the artist. Many more of Yiapanis' works can be found inside the new 3-storey modern building, designed and already awarded first place in the BUILD AWARD by local architect Aggelos Savvides. Linea Light Group's solutions were chosen for the entire lighting project.

Between museum and landscape
The indoor lighting of the exhibition areas saw the installation of Pound projectors, chosen for the high luminous performance of the arrayLED source, and Iris_T for the highly customisable functionality of the emission width and light intensity control. Thanks to these products, which involve limited and easy maintenance, the entire area can be readapted according to the exhibition requirements of the works. The interior architecture of the building with its dynamism of forms is accentuated by Pool recessed luminaires and profiles from the Professional Lighting collection installed in the recesses that decorate the ceiling. For the outdoor part, on the other hand, we find products from the Architectural Lighting line with numerous projectors installed to illuminate the statues but also the beautiful trees that adorn the park, and along all the pedestrian paths the installation of Insert path markers.
